Max the Camper
I really can not believe that Max & my nephew Sam are old enough to go to a sleep away camp. But they attended Camp Tekawitha this summer. 3 days two nights of being filled with inspiration about Jesus, family, friends and themselves. they came back happy & filled with Joy.
Max was luck to reconnect with Sam who he went to kindergarten & 1st grade with at Holy Spirit schoo. They had a grat time.. |
The gang from Max's cabin |
Jack Attack of the Stingrays
Jack had a great time on our neighborhood swim team.
He is great at swimming and loves being on a team. It's neat how he is very encouraging of team mates and is the first to celebrate a win, mostly with that million dollar smile.
Championship meet with friends
On your mark, get set, beeeeep
sweet dive Jack
This is Jack and Coach Christy. Unfortunate for us this is her last year, but I am so thankful that he had a few years with her as his coach.

June 2013: Big Cedar
Our first get away this summer. We took a few day get away to Big Cedar Lodge near Branson.
We've been to this resort many times, but never in the summer. It was a great experience. As always my kids, I mean fish are swimming away at the pool. And being funny at the hot tub, or hot tat tub as Lucy calls it.
Summer smores? Is there really a bad season for smores? We don't think so.
We usually don't think of hiking when we go on vacation. But when we do, I realize how beautiful nature is and how the kids love exploring the bugs, tress, rocks.. all of it.
A little swimming and kayaking at the marina. As usual Max is such a great brother. Aj wanted to go so bad but couldn't go by himself. Max stepped up to the plate and paddled away. Such a sweet boy.
Stopped for some throw'ed rolls in Springfield.
My amazing kids. A great end to a wonderful time.
