My brother is coming, my brother is coming...

It has been over six months since I have seen my little brother and I just can't wait.  He has moved from London, which seemed kind of far away, to Hong Kong which seems really far away.  But tomorrow, he will be back to the great plains of the U.S. and I can't wait.

that's what daddy's do
I'm not exactly sure why I find this photo so touching.  I am lucky to have a daddy for my little lovebugs, who not only makes grand gestures, but also simple nudges.

"mommy & daddy"

Our skype session was fantastic.  We started late due to internet issues on their end.  The boys were so tired but wanted us to wake them when Jyun Kai called.

Within a few minutes he was calling Adam & I, mommy & daddy...my heart melted.  He is so excited to have brothers.  I can tell he wants to get to know them.

After one lovebug showed him his yo yo and the other lovebug chatted, we had to say good bye.  But seeing him more and more makes me anxious to make him our own.

Our Taiwan brother

Tomorrow we get to skype our little boy in Taiwan.  We skyped him about a month ago too.  It was so exciting for him and us.  After a year of looking at the same pictures over and over.  A year of our sons praying for him, their "Taiwan brother", every night, we actually got to interact with him.  Tomorrow night will be wonderful because we are closer and closer to being with him.  July can not come any sooner...but before that our final court date is April 8, 2011.

ANTICIPATION

China is chugging along

China has completed LID's up to June 15, 2006...this means they are only 20 LID's away from our date.  It could be September we would go get our little girl.  Sooner than that we could have a picture of her by the end of July!!!!!!!  After so long, it is speeding up.  As usual with China's adoption program, there is no reason for the speed up in dates, but I will take it none the less.
I am trying not to hold my breath...but I was looking at adorable summer dresses on-line this morning.  A cute little dress for her won't hurt anything.

our adoption roller coaster

Our LID for China's international adoption list is July 5, 2006.  Yes, we have ridiculously waited a long time.  Some times I am proud of being hard core about our stick-to-itiveness and some times I think we may be nuts.  Either way this year is THE year, 2011 will be when we take a trip to China and pick up our little girl.
But before we go to China we are going to Taiwan to adopt our little boy Jyun Kai.  He is 6 years old.  We found him on Rainbowkids.com last year.  So far our preliminary paperwork is complete, now we are waiting on USCIS to approve our I600A.  Both situations make me nervous and excited at the same time.  But lucky for the mister and I, we knew adoption was always a part of our lives.

many things i like

Snow, snow, snow...it is so beautiful.  Things I love: watching my kids play in the snow...until they throw that little bit of snow down their brother's neck and the crying begins.
  Snow is still pretty though.
